Come, All Come, in Celebration of Our God's Amazing Grace

Author: Mary Jackson Cathey Hymnal: New Hymns of Hope #37 Meter: 8.7.8.7 D Topics: Fellowship First Line: Come, all come in celebration of our God's amazing grace Lyrics: Come, all come in celebration of our God's amazing grace. By mercy of God's guidance we now worship in this place. Through the faith of those before us who believed and knew God's word they went forth into the future with the gospel they had heard. Offer prayers of true thanksgiving for believers of the past who with hope and dedication formed a church they prayed would last. In the following generations a fellowship has come to be. This a place of prayer and teaching so God's truth can make all free. Speak with real appreciation for the heritage we own. In our lives and in our serving may our faith be clearly shown. As God's people of the Covenant let us live what we profess by our acts and deeds of mercy show the Christ that we confess. Sing, all sing with jubilation for this fellowship we own, building on the firm foundation our commitment here is shown. As we look to years before us and give thanks for days now past, we go forward with God's blessing to be faithful as God asked. Languages: English
